TÖÖLÖNKATU SHOULDER BAG

Part of our “Found in Helsinki” collection of prints. This print is inspired by the decorated gable of ‘Bertha Maria-Hemmet’, a nursery school built in 1910 on Töölönkatu.

40 x 35cm Shoulder Bag (55% Linen,45% Cotton) with cotton webbing straps. Screen-printed by hand using waterbased inks by Regular Celery in Helsinki. Sized to fit 15inch laptop.

We screen print each bag by hand using traditional screen printing techniques in our Meilahti Studio. We prepare the silk-screens in the traditional way by exposing cardboard cut-outs. This technique helps to inform the design of the patterns themselves.
